The IEEE Comsoc Lecture on 4G Technologies carried out in Bandung last weekend resulted in a moderate success. Considering the minimal {time|financial|human} resources we have, I would say it was more than expectation.

I guess, like the other kinds of human being, I need human touch & support. But, by being the sceptic & cynical me, and by being extremely rational (yet trying to be empathic, in term of understanding the human mind observed from multi sides), sometimes I just have to let myself out of emotion support from the others. Btw, this is the writer’s notion about Strange loop:
«And yet when I say “strange loop”, I have something else in mind — a less concrete, more elusive notion. What I mean by “strange loop” is — here goes a first stab, anyway — not a physical circuit but an abstract loop in which, in the series of stages that constitute the cycling-around, there is a shift from one level of abstraction (or structure) to another, which feels like an upwards movement in a hierarchy, and yet somehow the successive “upward” shifts turn out to give rise to a closed cycle. I have to re-read “I am a Strange Loop” — for the 4th time. This time it is to save my mind. Body and mind is explainably linked, but sometimes the body manipulates the mind by making it thinks that the mind is in control. I am old and smart enuff to understand it
. But still, in moment like this, I cannot overcome it easily.
No, I will not surrender. I am a control-freak, so this I must control the mind, the body. Not as easy as understanding how the linkages happen and work, I must detect any shortcut I can use. I shall overcome. I shall win. I am the winner, that’s me. -

Then HP introduces this term: service governance framework. It encourages the use of open standard, reusability, and other issues to ensure an effective SDP implementation. Other issue delivered is the utilisation of data mining toward users profile, applications, etc, etc, to make it SDP 3.0.

Telecom Italia presents another architecture of SDP 2.0. The drivers are the necessities for service & network abstraction & virtualisation, including reusability and interface standardisation. Scalability & modularity would include plugins capability.

After the tiring Indigo Awards & Pesta Blogger preparation, I am escaping & spending my days attending SDP Asia Summit. It is the 4th annual event, carried out in Grand Hyatt Singapore.
Is there anymore issue to talk about SDP? Plenty, it turns out. Integrated SDP is now feasible. Customers behaviours have changed in unprecedented way the last year. And some consultants stay clueless as usual .
Will visit holy temple of Borders latet, for sure.
