Any new friend would laugh at me for my unique domain: kun.co.ro. In fact, I laughed at that idea too, when I realised that that funny domain is possibly registered. It was a frozen winter in the beginning of 2001. I sat alone in our temporary computer room (on our dormitory — we have well established computer rooms in our campus). Curiously I saw the rabbits running to the ice-covered bushes. I admit I forget what happened next. But I found myself roaming on Romanian sites. And ending in a German-owned shared-domain services. There I found SLD co-ro, sa-ro, or-ro, etc; and in less than 1 minute decided to register kun.co.ro. And in no time, I decided what I would do with the domain: I’d move my 6-months-old blog to the new domain. Then laughing. Yeah, it’s silly. So silly. But then I felt blessed

The notification was late to reach me; so I could not do my best for the .TEL domain race
. But, all right, it’s just a game. Still I’d like to give the new TLD a try. Here we are: KUNCORO.TEL

I just phased out the old domains of IEEE Indonesia section and IEEE Comsoc Indonesia chapter sites. Now we will use the new, shorter, more friendly domains. ewh.ieee.org/r10/indonesia is replaced by ieee.web.id, and ewh.ieee.org/r10/indonesia/com moved to komunikasi.org. The old domains are now redirected to the new domains.

By writing here, have I given up with those µblog services?
Certainly I have left Plurk. It sucks. But I haven’t left Twitter, or even Jaiku. I even just signed up on a new local (but soo cool) µblog: Koprol.com, created by Satya, Fajar, & co.
But here I am. I need my own space for writing short blog (but more than SMS length, and optionally with small pics). My idea was to use koen.cc or koen.cz, which are now used for my webmark & tech greg. I felt lucky when I know I could register koen.su. Should be: koen.su.cz, to be honest

No, this is not a secret blog. I just had no idea about the domain Koen.SU. And besides me was a book written by Lucy and Stephen Hawking: George’s Secret Key to the Universe. You get the idea now.
SU is the TLD for — guess what — The Soviet Union. It was indeed a secret universe in its era.
