I have paid for the renewal of this blog’s domain: koen.su. Means that I have been blogging here for a year. Positioned as my “travelling blog”
, this blog was almost always neglected when I was on the road
. iPhone effect, I guess. It is now easier to blog to my other sites using iPhone WordPress app, or to tweet using Tweetie or Tweetdeck on iPhone. Also I started writing at least one other blog as the child of koen.su: kuncoro.com.

Oh, I also buy a domain: pernikilmu.com. Pernik Ilmu was a blog I planned some years ago, to discuss science of everyday life. When I co-founded Asia Blogging with Budi Putra et.al, I incorporated the idea of Pernik Ilmu to be a part of Asia Blogging. Now I think I need a simple domain to let users visit the blog without having to memorize AsiaBlogging’s awkward domain & directory names.
So, visit pernikilmu.com

I know I am a domain addict. Sue me
. Meanwhile, I rebrand my coffee blog: I move koen.cc (Koen’s Coffee Corner) to cafe.vc (Virtual Coffee). I may ask one or more bloggers as co-authors of the blog. -

Now that I write longer & longer here, shouldn’t I restart my english blog? I have stopped them for a while.

Jauh sebelum blog dan Internet, aku belajar meniru kebiasaan Papap menulis catatan harian. Catatan harian Papap dulu bisa dicari dan dilacak ke tahun-tahun sebelum aku lahir. Aku masih ingat pernah menemukan versi 1965.
Apa yang tertulis tanggal 1 Oktober?
“Cimahi kisruh.”
That’s all
.
Aku bayangkan situasinya mengharuskan semua bergerak cepat tanpa ada kejelasan tentang apa yang terjadi. Tapi beliau sempat menuliskan dua kata itu di catatan hariannya. -

Now I feel stupid. This is not a miniblog. This is an inefficient and stupidly-arranged blog or tumblelog. Short texts here, shorter text on twitter, pictures on kuncoro.co.uk and koen.im, video on meme.yahoo.com/koen, urls on mark.koen.cz, music somewhere else, book list dunno where. Should arrange it in a single room, shouldn’t I?

Some weeks ago, Mr Susilo of BBC Radio interviewed be about Twitter application and the lifestyle of its users in Indonesia. And a couple days ago, he called me for another interview about Tumblr. Twitter and Tumblr: a microblogging & mini blogging services: short messages services for specific users; but also a new land for bloggers to explore. I’m not a devout user or microblogging services; and I still call myself a blogger. Blogging lifestyle may be declining now. But I blogged since none had blogged, and I will continue writing till that time that I can no more writing.

WPMU and BuddyPress have been upgraded recently. WPMU to 2.7.1, and BuddyPress to RC2. I’ve upgraded telkom.us to RC2, and installed Facebook-like theme. Now, I would try some new plugins. One of them is for synchronising wire to Twitter. Another is for inviting friends. No, I promise not to make it a Facebook-wannabe application :p

The (too) late adapters of blogs proudly display their wordpress (or even blogspot) address as their bumper stickers, graffiti on walls, etc. Who they think would visit them? Haha
. I do
.
Here’s one of them: chizoneiv.blogspot.com. Not too bad. But, blogspot, hein? -

Lokopolo asked me to move my main blog to plasa.com. Surely I cannot do that
. I guess I’d write about telecom issues (network, service, content) — all that I have written on telkom.info, but with different style. What do you think?
